bonneville trans

so i have a 95 bonneville the front pump is shot in the trans trans works but has low line pressure. sooo i need to pull it but i have a trans from a 1990 bonnevile that was bolted to the series 1 engine. I need to know if the two transmissions are the same or not cus im going to rebuild one or the othe but would like to have one built and ready to go in when i pull it!

so anyway i have read a few message bords and found that people are having similar problems with thier transes like dropping out of 4th gear which mine teneded to do when it was cold but a simple turn of the key solved that! and the whining thing seems to comon but whatever is causin the whining is causing low lien pressure and a failure to engage the clutches!

I know the W-Bodies switched from the 4T60 to the 4T60e in '93, not sure if the H-Bodies were the same. The 4T60e is well known in 1st gen W-body circles to be pretty weak....
