having a problem with my car- P0300 misfire

eerrrrrr it cost me 3 days of downtime already.. threw a code for # 4 coil being bad. replaced it. now it just says P0300 misfire. but it doesnt say what cylinder or anything.. its pissing me off. something which i thought was gonna be a simple coil replacement has turned into a mystery and im supposed to take a chick out tonight for her birthday!!!! helllppp meeee pleasseeee

if its misfireing, that cyl. should be runing cooler than the rest. u could use an Infrared Digital Thermometer to find the cool one. just measure all the headers in the same position, it will be dramaticly colder, ive had a simmilar problem and this worked great for me
good luck Justin
