tuning TPI

I know there are at least 2, one MIA, who does this. I'd like to get into burning my own chips and I've read the posts on TGO, I just want someone who does it first hand to point me in the right direction as to what things to buy, as far as brands and models etc.

I've got TunerPro and bought the Burn1 unit from Moates (www.moates.net) with a few spare chips. It's worked well so far, but I've only burned 3 chips since I bought the stuff. The ones I burned were just to compensate for the different injectors, change the fan turn on/off temps, and enable the rev limiter. I need to learn more about tuning in general before I go futzing around with the program (like modifying timing/fuel/MAF tables).

Ive done the same but I have gotten a little deeper as far as modifying the VE tables and the SA tables. Ive only done about 10 cips but so far its not really that hard its just there is a lot to read before getting into it.
