auto trans question

this is a non-fbody question, but our 01 Saturn L200 is having a problem shifting under WOT. on part throttle, its quite normal, maybe a little hard on the shifts, but nothing crazy. but the thing will not shift at all under WOT, could a rebuild fix this or should i just go for a new trans? thanks guys

ps- i kinda wanna get the car done asap since its used as a delivery car, so the easier and quickest fix would be best.

i'm far from an expert on auto trannys, but we had a similar problem with an olds station wagon. thing just wouldn't shift under a heavy load, be-it WOT or heavy load on a hill, whatever. had the trans rebuilt and never had another problem. i know that tranny was very different from ur's, but it's a thought. good luck.

i dont even know what the car looks like hhahhaahahah -- if its vacumn operated low vacumn can cause this problem like a benz - well what ever sends the signal to the road speed VIA throttel posision is not working if it shifts under normal driving load conditions -- jz
