fat or thin redesign
just looking for one that works and won't give me issues
went to play mine this morning and the disc drive wouldn't open
looks like too much to open it and try to fix it up so let me know what you got

i can probably fix it for you... do all the lights turn on? and does it make a sound when you push the button? (it should make like a humming sound)

it runs fine, all lights come on & blink accordingly
can play the game that's stuck in it
don't really hear an additional hum when i try to open it but it could be just me

if youre just gonna throw the old one out, ill take it and attempt to fix it for myself

if it doesnt hum like it sounds like its trying to open then your gonna need a new drive it probably isnt hard to do

for 150, ill give you my ps2, controllers, and all my games for it.

i'll keep you in mind, although i might trade it in for store credit etc

just call sony and bitch a lot...if you bitch enough they'll tell you to send it in for free service...not sure if they'll do it still though, considering the 3 is out but its worth a shot, they did it for me...just have all your serial numbers and **** ready
