Let's hope they can carry that over to tonight against Boston. A-Rod had a nice shot as well...looks like he's getting back in the zone.

lol the yankees finally win! being a yankee fan nowadays is like being a met fan from years ago.it hurts. you know it's killing george that the mets are playing way better then the yanks. hopefully things will turn around for them starting with the hated red sux tonite.

Now let's not forget the '80s when the Yankees sucked just about the worst they ever sucked. I sat through seasons as a kid watching years go by when the Yankees didn't even make the playoffs. I don't think it's gotten to that point, yet.

They were showing the 78 1 game playoff last night on YES. Reggie hit a bomb in that game.

BigAls87Z28 05-21-2007 05:01 PM

Id take back the 98 team back. Pitching needs to come around. You cant get the results now, but Yanks have left a big window open. They relied too much on what they had, didnt bring in any new up and coming stuff, and have some really decent pitching from AAA, but there is a void between the old guys and the farm kids.

unstable bob gable 05-21-2007 11:55 PM

And lookie lookie, the Yanks won again tonight. Wang pitched a nice game. Me happy boy!

LS1Hawk 05-22-2007 06:34 AM

That was a great game last night. Looks like the Bombers are starting to click again.

BigAls87Z28 05-22-2007 07:50 AM

If there was any time to click, now would be that time!! I didnt get to see the game, just read the review. I heard Giambi hit a knuckler into the uppre deck? I got to see that!

slasherbarb 05-22-2007 09:06 AM

Giambi destroyed that pitch!! and A-Rod sent one to the bleachers...in LEFT FIELD!!! good game all around from everyone...

Yeah, the shot A-Rod hit was to left-center field...would've been out even before they pulled the fence in.

Yeah, you don't see baseballs hit out there too much.

baddest434 05-22-2007 10:23 PM

BACK TO REALITY!!!!!!!!
mussina should hang it up. he either pitches a 2 hitter or he blows, like tonite:cry:

BigAls87Z28 05-23-2007 08:17 AM

Yeah, he is not as dead on as everyone says he is. He seems like a good guy, we just need someone with more consitancy at this point.

BonzoHansen 05-23-2007 08:27 AM

He blows. I won;t forgive him for hsi rotten perfomance in the 2001 WS.

A-rod is going down tonight!
