315's on my second gen

I finally got around to putting the rims on the car. drivers side fit no problem, passenger side required a little hammering. The rim hit the back of the traction bars too, so they had to come off for now.

hey hey hey, lets not get sidetracked here. the thing we're all supposed to talk about is how badass second gens are with huge steamroller tires

79dizZy28 06-10-2007 02:07 PM

:stupid: second gen + big tires = badass

GP99GT 06-10-2007 02:13 PM

you need to get a picture from behind...like 10 feet behind the car

NJSPEEDER 06-10-2007 03:02 PM

looks good man. what is the offset on those wheels?
btw, if the rim hit the traction bar at only one end on one side, check to make sure the bolt in cups at the front of the leaf springs are tweaked.

BonzoHansen 06-10-2007 06:11 PM

Cool. Now attack that 4x4 stance. LOL

Big hoops are cool.

98tadriver 06-10-2007 07:00 PM

the 4x4 stance is because one air shock still has air in it and the other one doesnt

dont worry, I'll get around to dropping it 8)

I'll try to get a pic from 10 feet behind the rear tomorrow after work.

it hit the rear of the T bar on both sides of the car. I think its just because the rims are so big and the T bars are the crappy double U bolt type.

unstable bob gable 06-10-2007 08:45 PM

The rims are 17 X 11, with 6 inches of backspacing.

BonzoHansen 06-11-2007 08:43 AM

Throw out the traction bars.

BTK79 06-11-2007 12:40 PM

looks like total gription ,the pavement dosen't stand a chance.

Especially since the don't hit at the spring eye...

Nice wheels man.

unstable bob gable 06-11-2007 11:24 PM

Let's give 'ol unstable bob some props here...those wheels woulda been under my late, lamented, 79 T/A. I did the groundwork on 'em, and they fit like a bad azz mofo! 8-)

Tru2Chevy 06-12-2007 07:38 AM
