I need to know what this means?

Chevrolet identified the 1LE as "engineered specifically for professional racing and is intended for serious performance enthusiasts only."

Pretty much is a beefed up F-body from Chevy that had all sorts of nice goodies.

bigger brakes, no AC no radio no power options no fog lights. i believe in 88 they made 4 and one may have been parted out by a member here? lol
350/auto or 305/5spd Z28's
if you had one it would be on the RPO label in the center consol as "1LE"

depending on the years, they also came with better suspension parts. sway bars, springs/shocks. if you have a 25th aniv. car, then you dont have a 1LE. if you have any options at all, then chances are its not a 1LE. they were meant as factory road race strippers.
