w00t!

i have talked to them a few times. hopefully they will have some facilities to visit next spring, dunno what the time frame is on the actual road course though. seems like they are still seeing some delays cause of the neighbors and stuff.

qwikz28 06-22-2007 07:25 PM

i really hope they can accomplish their predicted opening date. cause that place is awesome

unstable bob gable 06-22-2007 08:49 PM

Kool...maybe I'll be able to turn and burn in the AMX someday...8-)

bubba428 06-22-2007 08:58 PM

I can't wait to get a car out there

DrachenFire 06-23-2007 10:18 PM

Haha yeh I've had their site for the park in my quick tabs for the past several months...

BonzoHansen 06-24-2007 08:48 PM

Cool

Demonicbird00 06-25-2007 11:16 AM

they are trying to have events on the track by the end of next year, and everything should be done by 2011.

It should be good stuff once it's all done

How is that going to impact Atco?

And having it near the airport is a good location. Sound of jets and top fuel cars roaring down pavement. :)

Or is this just a road course / circle track? (with little impact on Atco)

It isn't. Road courses.

Its a 4 mile road corse, a 3/4 mile tri-oval, and karting tracks. And it will also have a motocross track.

Demonicbird00 06-26-2007 01:27 PM

it will have no effect on atco. as stated by blackbad

YES!!!! my dream has come true. aw man, I wanna move to millville now. this is great to have somehting like this, and i heard its supposed to bring some big name racing series out like grand am and maybe ALMS...if they get this track nice and withhin what ALMS loks for, but I can only hope. Also I hope it will support vintage festivals so Rolex can maybe sponser it and I can run the tent there!!!

Demonicbird00 06-27-2007 07:57 PM

everything will be there racing... vintage classes, ferrari clubs, porshe clubs,SCCA,AMA bikes.grand am will most likey be there along w/ ALMS. and prolly CART as well.

I hope you all have your pennies saved. That is a car country club. It ain't gonna be like going to atco.

Demonicbird00 06-27-2007 11:10 PM

you dont have to be a member of the track, you can be tho. if you go there w/ a series itll be fairly priced to race say maybe 100 bucks to run in 2 races or so

jin1481 06-28-2007 08:23 AM

100bucks, stil worth it. Its great to finally see NJ have a track ( besides atco and englishtown) to really bring in som big league racing leagues.

Slow Z 06-28-2007 04:41 PM

Get a road racing car, youll answer differently.

Slow Z 06-28-2007 04:57 PM

it's actually more along the lines of that I live RIGHT by where they are putting this place... Not really into traffic/noise in a once "quiet" area.

BlackBADaSS02 06-28-2007 08:20 PM

I live right around the corner, less than a mile from where they are building the track. I have been looking forward to this since they first said they were going to build it in Millville. I can deal with the traffic and noise. It will bring some excitement to boring Millville.

98tadriver 07-01-2007 01:50 AM

and lotsa traffic. they better continue route 55 down to there. they also better build that place union. so i can work there :) i heard a rumor floating around that they would incorporate a 1/4 mile strip into that track. like put it on the str8away, like the old vineland track.

On top of that-

People bitch about tech at drag strips? At road courses they will give your car a body cavity search to make sure you are safe.
