Bring out the trumpets!!!

Here is what happened...

No Spark. Why?? Rotor inside brand new opti not spining. Why?

CAM IS BUSTED in half.

For a laugh I decided to take each spark puf out. All good except for #8. Cylinder full of Anti freeze. Head gasket wasted, and the piston is crack.

So I'm broke, owe the step pops $3000 and I have NO CAR. YAY for me!!

even if the cam is in half, opti rotor would spin. the opti runs off the front of the cam, and since the front of the cam is turned by the timing chain by the crank, all 16 lobes of the cam could be seperate from the cam gear but the opti would still turn, if its not turning, im gonna say a broken timing chain, or snapped crank.

if it was a snapped crank, the motor would turn over a lot quicker than usual.

It would probably make a hell of a racket too

rotor in brand new opti not spinning...check the 2 screws that go into the rotor, i had the same thing happen when they backed themselves out

Na, I'm not going to touch used parts. I'll figure this out somehow.
