Gears Whining-Motive

I just got my gears installed and man do they whine. Are they suppose to do that??

Mine never whined until about 100+

What size gear? upto 3:73 there should be no noise if the install was done right. 4.11 may have a small whine.

Sounds like the backlash was not set up right.

Check the box and see if they are made in the US or oversea. The none US ones do whine allot more. The US made ones that I have do not whine badly. just a slightly while coasting. Either way I would get them checked.
