amp and subs w/ factory head unit

i gotta put a system in the GF's 04 grand cherokee with the factory infinity package.

my question is how do i connect the audio outputs from the back of the stock head unit to the amp?

there should be speaker wires that u would just cut and run it to the amp...usually green, purple, grey, white...one of each has a black stripe down it letting u know if its pos or neg.

first off, do not cut ANY wires

if you are just using an amp for the subs, best way and easiest is to use a line convertor so you have RCAs to the amp. many amps dont have high level inputs(speaker wires) plus rcas are better quality. youd attach the convertors by splicing them into the rear speakers. then you just wire up the amp like normal.

Yerp, I sold them at Circuit City, they are pretty cheap (+/- $16).
