wax suggestions for a silver car....

I have a 8oz jar of Zymol carbon wax which I bought for $50 when I bought my Silver 2002 Z28 new from the dealer, Its garage kept and hasnt seen rain yet, needless to say its my pleasure car, so its only fitting that I hand wash and wax it in my driveway to keep it looking new and shiny. Prior to buying the jar back in 2002 I didnt know of this site, I like the results I have been getting with the Zymol but since its about gone and time to buy some new wax I figured I would ask what everone else has been using. Has anyone used zymol carbon on their silver car and switched to something better or cheaper, or just something they like more...?

Thanx for any suggestions

sorry this is a little late... but with silver id look into pinnicle signature series 2 or natty's red paste wax... ive used most of the zymbols up to the destiny series and pinnicles products compare extremely well to it as strange as that sounds.... i use signature series for light colors/metallics and souveran for blacks reds and yellows

wax

Next time you are at a car show look for the person selling Formula #113- that stuff works great! Get the wax and detail spray.
The wax goes on easy and the car looks great when your done.

I believe that type of meguiars is for detailers you order direct. I use NXT it goes on easy and its a synthetic carnuba. I used to use their gold class but have since been impressed with the nxt. I don't like turtle wax all that much, but I have turtlewax ICE I use as a polish in between the wash and wax when its the first serious detail in the spring.

I've been using it since about 99. Yes I've used alot of other stuff and the only stuff that comes close to it is 3M. Can't go wrong with that stuff.
