thjinking about selling my camaro
I'm thinking about selling my camaro, right now its my daily driver and I'm starting to want something a little nicer riding and quieter, and something i have comes to terms with many years ago is the awful gas mileage. plus i have always wanted nice leather seats and a car with trunk. so after a lot of thought i think I'm going to by a bmw 325is.
here's my 94 camaro... http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...9/100_4855.jpg http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...9/100_4858.jpg it has 114,000 miles, full exhaust and qtp cut out, fresh paint on the faded bumpers, new trans very low miles on it (i have the paper work for that w/ a 3000 stall) new nitto tires, mb quart component speakers, 500 4chl watt amp, eclipse h/u and some more. but do you think i could get $6000, its very very clean. oh here's the beemer.. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...cerf39/bmw.jpg |
you know, after seeing the pics of your car, I remember seeing it rolling into fudds one night when we were leaving.....
yea im always there, but i work till 11 nearly every friday so i get there late.
Not sure if it's just the lighting, but in the first pic the fender looks like it's definitely a slightly different color than the hood and bumper. How well was the paint blended when you had the bumpers repainted?
You might get $6k for it depending on just how good of shape it's actually in, but I've never seen it so I couldn't tell ya for sure. - Justin |
$6k is ls1 prices with that kinda mileage
depending on how clean it is you could probably see 5k
its the lighting, the paint matchs good and in that pic the paint is only a day old didnt fully cure yet.
sweeet *** camaro! now i duno crap about beemers but isnt that a cheaper old model?? we all no how much they cost to repair and how reliable german cars are... but whatever lol
yea its a 325is its $5000, but rwd 5spd 2 door. i think it would be fun still.

here's one hood and bumper, they match... http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...8/100_4849.jpg |
Ya never know, i sold my 95 Z28 in 3 days, put it up for 7400 and got 7000 cash for it. Mine was bone stock, but it only had 54k miles on it.
$6k will be tough i think, but its always possible to find someone that will pay that much for a 13 year old, high mileage car. just make sure they're not an enthusiast and they'll think they're getting a deal.
Hell yea 6k will be super hard. I sold my old 99 LS1 Z with 118k for $5900. Good Luck with everything but why that old BMW?
its still a few years newer then the camaro and any newer and i cant afford it.
if you can work it out, do NOT sell the camaro. i don't know what your finances are like, but it sounds like you need to sell one car to buy another. that's what auto loans are for. even if you have to get a co-signer, try to hang on to your current car. you will kick yourself later if you sell it. trust the voice of experience.

keep the car, get a beater
