It's a dry heat!

Hmmm, it's about 96 or 97 degrees outside but the humidity is only around 30 percent so it doesn't feel bad at all. I took a walk at lunch and barely started to break a sweat by time I got back.

j0n 08-02-2007 02:51 PM

uhm...ive been sitting under a beach umbrella lifeguarding all day and without moving an inch im sweating like a freakin pig

AliWantsNss 08-02-2007 02:58 PM

I was thinking that it was pretty nice out as well, but I think the humidity will be here tomorrow.

BonzoHansen 08-02-2007 03:05 PM

It got kinda sticky last night when the temps dropped a bit. I expect that again tonight.

NJSPEEDER 08-02-2007 03:05 PM

I walked out of my house to get something out of my truck. That 25 seconds of heat just sucked.

Plus I was working out in it all day, so that makes me like it less .....

baddest434 08-02-2007 04:54 PM

try working in a greenhouse in this crap. i feel like an ant under a magnifying glass.

Teds89IROC 08-02-2007 05:59 PM

working outside FTL. Even if I'm putting a car together inside it's still hot because the air isn't moving. I took the camaro to work today because JM and I are taking it down the shore tomorrow for the weekend...the drive home with no AC was wet

maroman88 08-02-2007 06:18 PM

hmm ive kept the AC in all my cars just for days like today :)

JL8Jeff 08-02-2007 06:51 PM

It's not that bad yet. I just got back from a mountain bike ride and I'm not even sweating anymore. I think the next couple of days will be worse. Looks like more time out on the river this weekend. After I get done putting the TO bearing back in the car of course.

transamkid 08-02-2007 07:01 PM

i was stuck working a diesel air compressor all day

12secondv6 08-02-2007 07:56 PM

Been in the garage putting the new motor together. It's HOT, no Breeze I soaked thru about 3 shirts today. I bought a ceiling fan to put out there, never ran the electic, I really wish I had today!

rscamaro73 08-02-2007 08:52 PM

Ha...got you all beat.

I was up in an ATTIC....well insulated place.....they did a GREAT job keeping the HEAT in there.

Had to take down 2 drywall panel 'access doors' to get to the back area to check for heat detectors. I bet they woulda gone off as hot as it was....

So anyways, I'm putting the panels back on and I can HEAR the sweat dripping off me and hitting the duct work. Worst 10 minutes of the day....

Best part - working in a day care for 2 1/2 hrs with some young hotties.....Right off Applegarth Rd (Cranbury edge of town)
