Insurance Surcharges

I get home today and my dad tells me there's mail for me on the table, both from the great ol' state of NJ.. the first one tells me that my college isn't eligible for NJ student aid, fine, i can do w/o my student loans are taken care for the most part

the second is from the DMV, telling me i owe an insurance surcharge of $250 because i accumulated more than 6 points in less than 3 years.. you think they coulda mentioned something about this in the class they make you take, but no they like to surprise you with these sorta things

glad i was sitting on some cash :missu:

you can convert that to a payment plan. it used to be $17 a month, but i don't know if they are still so generous. check it out.

i can but
A. i'm not home for the next few months and
B. I have the cash to just pay it now

[if i did do the monthly payment plan it'd be $42/mo for 6 months]
