wow... THANKS stockton....

Stockton meeting:

-Ok, let's see how we can screw ryanfx

-I vote for kicking him out
-no, too easy

-I vote for losing his transcripts and pretending he was never here
-no, too typical

-I vote for putting SIX speed bumps on our apartment road so his lowered car with LT headers is incompatible with our roads and SCRAPES EVERYWHERE!
-HERE HERE!

Now I look like a tool angling my car 45 degrees three times over these bumps every time I leave or return to stockton.. this is going to be a LONG year.

well you know that Stockton had to come up with some reason for the construction fees for the presidents offfice... ummmm.... i mean the students

jims69camaro 08-20-2007 08:53 PM

well, if you had an AirRide system, those speed bumps would be a joke. something to put on your christmas list, i suppose. i'm sure you're not the only one with a lowered car that is cursing the road maintenance crew...

Tru2Chevy 08-20-2007 10:13 PM

You might want to see if there are others with lowered cars around.....you could all complain to the university together about making it nearly impossible for you to access your housing.

There were speed humps removed from a few local roads in Lawrenceville several years ago because a guy with a Vette couldn't get out of his neighborhood.......

Man, dont you know what to do in a situation like this? Go BF2 style and lay a claymore at someones front door

Jersey_TA 08-21-2007 10:03 AM

Well that sucks. I hope the situation gets rectified soon.

bubba428 08-21-2007 10:13 AM

Do what I did...I got a big azz truck and ignored them lol...If you hit a speed bump at 30mph in a 85 C10 you won't even feel it

find out if it's a public road if it is even legal to put them in. My town had to remove them because the DOT didn't approve it.

bobb1589 08-22-2007 10:15 PM

my sister goes there... they do have way too many speed bumps

ap2000z28 08-23-2007 02:37 PM

my gf is going there this year..i have to move her in this sat.. looks like my car will never make it there huh

you culd always do what a guy in lawrenceville did, he sued the township over the speed bumps. speed bumps/humps are to teh letter of the law illegal in the state of new jersey.
on any public road you must maintain the "flow of traffic", which is defined as staying with in 10% of the posted speed limit when there are other vehicels traveling on the road.
since speed humps are designed to be placed in 25mph zones and force people to drive 15mph, 20% under the limit, therefore forcing you to break the law because they are too lazy to send a cop down there to hand out tickets. :)

Does that mean I can the township of Princeton for those speedbumps on Princeton Pike right after Lovers Lane?

maroman88 08-23-2007 06:34 PM

mmm my town had them, had to remove them, then got approval from the DOT er whoever and then spent $13K (i watched the council meeting) for 3 new speed bumps....goin over them in a fire truck requires slowing down to 5mph or less

1_Hot_SOM_WS6 08-24-2007 09:36 AM

The speed bumps at Stockton are a little much. Looks like the TA wont be making it back to stockton this semester...It doesnt matter how slow I go or how much of an angle I go over them...my exhaust scrapes.... :(

Squirrel 08-24-2007 10:57 AM
