just scored some new weld prostars and tires!

I was browsing LS1tech and found me a set of 15x8 damn near new prostars for the back of my car. they should go nicely with the skinnies. 86formula sent me a link to some 275 50 15 M/T DR's to go with them, 300 shipped with only 2 passes on em, basically brand new as well. cant wait till i cut some real 60' times now (thatd consist of 1.6 or better) maybe lift a front wheel? (or at least look cool on godragracing.com or davelmilcarek's site) :)

GP99GT 09-07-2007 04:44 PM

he put a 12 bolt in a few months ago

GP99GT 09-07-2007 04:53 PM

true that. you know if you pull a 1.7 60' you can pull the front wheels 10 inches!

bubba428 09-07-2007 05:07 PM

NICE...

can we start a "What part will Ron break and when pool"?

I say driveshaft u-joints +/- 3 days after mounting new sticky tires ... :)

BonzoHansen 09-07-2007 07:56 PM

I put $2 down on the trans tail housing - at least until he gets a decoupled t.arm.

bubba428 09-07-2007 07:56 PM

nah nah....I actually think his drive train is tight. cept for the bad trans, I'd say that 1st, but If he got a good one in there I can't really see him tearing up anything but the tires

NJSPEEDER 09-07-2007 08:35 PM

i am gonna go with the clutch go boom mod that seems to be so popular lately, giving it 2 weeks.

btw, 12 bolt or not ron will figure out a way to waste the rear. he gots skillz like dat.

Jersey_TA 09-08-2007 12:00 AM

Congrats on the new shoes Ron 8-)

Demonicbird00 09-08-2007 12:57 AM

thats a good idea jake. i hear those 12 bolts have awful torque arm mounts and its good to keep an eye out on those bolts and make sure they are super tight.
