question about PG-13
is there a universally accepted level of pg-13, or is it completely arbitrary? the reason why i ask is that certain words have become part of everyday language, yet on this website they are filtered. "A S S" is a perfect example. they say it and show it on primetime TV. if that's not pg-13, then i don't know what is. i agree that the seven words you can't say on TV should be filtered, but some of them aren't.

the problem we have with the swearing and the rason we have attempted to put such a tight control on it is that we have many members that don't know when to stop. that has become obvious with the hundred or more "special" spellings people have taken teh time to come up with to get around the word filters.
once we get a few more things in place there will be some adjustments to the word filter and how thos who go out of their way to beat it are dealt with. |
