Wanted: 5.0 (F*rd) engine / trans / parts
 

I know I will probably get flamed for this but I am trying to help a friend out. My buddy had a 90 Mustang back in high school and sold it because he could no longer drive it while he went to military school in Vermont. Well he really misses the car, as do I, it was a really fun car. Well I was talking with his girl friend and she really wanted to get him his car back, since she knew who bought it..well she got the news today that the car was rear ended pretty hard a month back and from what I can tell its probably totaled. Well he will be sending off to a base in Kansas at the end of the spring, and probably over seas some time after that. I have a car possibly lined up no motor or trans, that needs some work. My goal was to get some body work done to it, paint it up just how his old one was and then give it to him (with funds from his girlfriend). What I am asking for is if anyone happens to have a 5.0 motor a 5speed trans, or any other parts that you have laying around that could help me it would be greatly appreciated. The car will probably be going with him to Kansas while he is stationed out there, so if anyone could please help out that would be great.

yeah i was gonna say, ian has a motor...i have some random odds and ends but nothing really special anymore. stock h-pipe? :lol:

A friend of mine is trying to unload a set of Explorer heads brand new in the box.

explorers had GT40 heads, but 96-97 had regular GT40, 98+ had GT40P....might wanna find out which, P's require a special header or some creative plug wire arrangement/new wires

I also have a trick flow upper and lower intake

lets see....i have a twisted driveshaft too...solid trans mount...factory fenderwell intake, you might find that useful
