Hazardous tires ticket?

anyone know anything about them? i got one and i can't find the price or anything, jsut know it is a no point ticket.

NJSPEEDER 09-22-2007 11:17 PM

that is a slightly odd ticket to get. it isn't the kind of thing that you can get pulled over for unless the tires are down to the belt and throwing sparks.
any DOT approved tire is legally regarded as hazardous once the tread is below the acceptble minimum limits.
you shoudl be able to look up the fine on the nj dmv website by entering the code for the offense.

sounds like a cop looking for an easy ticket to fill his quota.

Nice, so he have you a break.

Hey, didn't you need a adj bumper for your rear hatch? I thought I remembered that. You still need one?

Rafterman 09-24-2007 09:21 PM

honestly, I've got bigger problems. Someone smacked my rear bumper, just traded paint, no dent, but nonetheless.
