Java trouble - computer people help
I tried viewing a video and it said either javascript wasn't on or i needed the latest macromedia flash player. so i downloaded this javascript thing, and the latest flash player. Still says the same thing.
What do I do? |
you didn't tel me you could use flash..
download the latest copy off their website and it has an online test to make sure it's installed right don't ask for a link :google: |
I did download the latest copy. I think the problem lies with this java thing
|
Do you have any pop up blockers or firewalls on? Javascript is probably not the problem, it's the JRE (Java Runtime Environment). Reinstall the latest version.
|
i tried that and it says that I already have it...so that means the problem is with firewalls/such? It's a school comp so I don't know what htey have on it or anything. Or how to change them
|
Chances are a request is being blocked by a firewall, pop up blocker, browser setting or antispyware software. I run into this all the time at work. You may be SOL if you can't change settings on a computer lab computer or something like that.
