Thank God! Now maybe I won't have to listen to my boss say how great a team the Mets have and how much better they are than the Yankees.

i think many of you are overlooking the fact that it is the phillies, a philadelphia based sports franchise. even if they manage to hold on for the last 4 games and make the playoffs, they are two weeks from trying to get a good tee time anyway.

i'm no philadelphia sports fan either. but making the playoffs sure beats not making it. i just want to see the mets choke!!!

I'll take a playoff visit at this point.

i am jsut getting tired of all the phillies fans i work with. every time they lose the manager needs to get fired and every time they win they are destined for the world series. they have some good players for sure, but they aren't a consistant team and that is what it takes to be a champion.

being a yankee fan for my whole life i've always had this hatred for the mets. and to see them blow a 7 game lead w/17 to play is rediculus. but i loved every minute of it. theres only 1 baseball team in new york:lol:
