Paint question
 

So im in the process of changing my maroon 02 camaro to a white... i was stuck on the arctic white with two midnite metallic blue stripes for awhile... until i saw a pic of a pearl white camaro.... being that im doing a complete color swap i think it would be smarter to do something a little more voer the edge than a straight up gm color(arctic white).... So im thinking of doing the pearl white... but am undecided with the stripe colors... an opinons? or do u think the midnite metalic blue would still be fine? Help please... i need some input

do you mean blue stripes with a lot of pearl or do you mean stripes that are made of blue pearl? huge difference. the second one would come out looking like ghost stripes.

pearl is so hard to lay on!!!!! The car has to be flawless! especailly the prep job!

i dono still up in the air going to paint shop tomorrow to see what the guy has to say... i want to enhance the white somehow... i dont want just a plain straight up arctic white.....

is there any way to do an arctic white with like a metalic in it? like how some come metalic already?

AFAIK you can add flake to any paint you want before you spray it.

Thats whta i said to the guy n he said he couldnt to a white? i was like ummmm ok? w.e i dont care... just more money... im getting the arctic white and that would be alot easier to match then a color with flaking n ****...

now i gotta figure out what color for the stripes........ i cant find a color i like

you can metal flake any paint! dupont makes it in chromabase!

Thats what i thought.... cuz i wanted to do an arctic white with liek a bluish flaking but... i sad screw it... w.e ... i like the arctic white... and like i said it wouldnt be as hard to color match it or touch it up where as something they had mixed up would be.... ehh... w.e


what you think about nbm stripes on an arctic white?
