im looking to buy tools I just starting working at a gm dealer as a mechanic and I have nothing I need basically everything from impacts to impact guns and sockets and so one so if anyone has anything let me know

Try Harbor Freight for you air tools, If you cant afford Snap On, and i am sure at this point you cant, get Husky hand tools from Home Depot, you can always use this stuff home when you can afford Snap On.

yea i been thinking about that i like husky and all my friends use that stuff and they last forever

i have husky and my ratchets always break.

try cornwell tools. the guy always comes into my station and hes a pretty cool guy. dont really know of cornwell but whatever.

i have a 4.5 mm socket. I don't want it because it has to be way up on th list of useless tools... but then i think i do want it because where the hell else am i ever gonan find one

a-hole or not, he sells some of the best tools you can buy. when I first started I thought I would just use craftsman tools, that didnt work so well. starting out, the cheaper tools are fine, but when you've been doing it for a while, you'll really want to buy better gear. the term "you get what you pay for" rings very true in the auto tech world of tools.
