She looks good with that bat...AND SHE CAN PROLLY USE IT BETTER THEN THE DAYUM BAZILLIONAIRES IN NYC WHO ARE LOOOOOZING TO THE FOOKIN' CLEVELAND INJUNS!!!!

Ian 10-06-2007 06:00 AM

car looks good. would look even better without that yankees hat mucking up the picture

GP99GT 10-06-2007 08:22 AM

i think you should use that bat to remove the tail light covers but other than that it looks good

"have you seen my baseball?" is the first thing i thought of when i saw the second picture

Thanks guys! as for the blackouts, they are coming off. With the 5% tint I can't see ***** at night. Plus, I like the look of the grid lights anyway. I'll probably black them out though with niteshades, or just do the !amber mod and make them all red.

Teds89IROC 10-06-2007 12:08 PM

here are some options i'm considering:

here they polished the lights then mixed some black with clear coat and sprayed them:

same deal here:

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...LO/Niceass.jpg

and here they just used testors model paint and made the amber section red:

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...O/dscn1783.jpg

the other option is niteshade the lights and clear over them.

what do you guys think?

enRo 10-06-2007 01:37 PM

I suggest leaving the blackouts on. Looks much cleaner. Pics look good. Im liking the hood.

GP99GT 10-06-2007 01:57 PM

niteshading them would do pretty much the same thing as it is now...its just TOO black on the rear end IMO. make the ambers red and see how it looks....if you dont like it then i guess niteshade it or do that first one, black w/ clear mix

Kojak 10-06-2007 03:44 PM

I think it loos good either way, but if you wanted to change it I say change the amber to red.

LS1Hawk 10-06-2007 04:09 PM

Car looks great, Ted! I suggest tossing the blackouts and going with the polished lenses.

Teds89IROC 10-06-2007 05:04 PM

Alex did a quick chop for me..I really like this a lot:

Tru2Chevy 10-06-2007 05:41 PM

Pics look good.....I still like original hood better, but that's just me.

As far as the taillights go, I say do a light coat of nightshades with or without the !amber mod. I wouldn't do the !amber mod alone - the reds aren't quite equal and it doesn't look right.

I think he means the ducktail, like Koll's white thirdgen. Same spoiler that he has know, just taller.

yeap:mrgreen:

Teds89IROC 10-07-2007 12:08 AM

Thanks for all the input guys! I have two sets of those tail lights so I'm gonna try the !amber mod first and see how it goes. I'll see what I can do to get it as close as possible to the others. As far as the 5" spoiler, it is the ducktail one made by hawks. That'll probably be the next and final major exterior mod.

red/amber/clear or red/red/clear.....it's all good. I like red/amber/clear myself. Just so long as you don't get clear lenses with colored bulbs......that's just so ricer.
