their are a 1/2 dozen guys who do bracket stick cars in north jersey and all of them do well to a point - in divisional racing their are many stick classes and apples are apples against each other - but i can think if at least 3 that will put you in the trailer in a blink - if its what you want its up to you to do the job - run with the big dogs thing - jz

Yeah. Sorry j0n, but in accordance with forum rules you are required to scatter small caliber rimfire bullets around any fanning of currency. I know it may be a stupid rule, but I don't make them, I just enforce them.

Please repost your picture with the aforementioned bullets or I will be forced to lock this post.

J/K of course- Nice job! Bracket racing with a stick is definetly challenging.

Tim how many 14.15-14.16 runs did I have in the Stick shift S-10 back in the day on your slicks? I think it was like 5 or 6 in a row.

I guess it all depends on the driver ;)

Theres alot of misinformation out there...I never once missed first in the S-10 and in actuality preferred & hit first instead of 3rd on one occasion

As for missing first gear that was my second time at the track in my mustang...it had 3.55 gears so I did my burnout in second and forgot to put it back into first when I got to the line, by the time I realized I was in the wrong gear I was at nearly at the 330 and figured what the hell & just left it in second...I think I ran a 16.3@93mph to Tims 16.2@80mph

He never did line up with me again that day knowing I might actually remember to put it in first that time :moon:

misterjuice 10-08-2007 06:20 AM
