I was going to post this a week ago

TheBandit 10-09-2007 04:57 PM

he made a crappy song.. well a little less crappy, nah it's actually pretty cool, not to technical either but sounds nice.. still cant stand the original

BonzoHansen 10-09-2007 05:03 PM

Damn, I was hoping he spoke. He is one of the dumbest human beings I have ever heard speak.

I didn't seee anything interesting in his drumming.

there isnt supposed to be anything interesting, its just well matched to the song.

and he may not be brilliant with his words, but he is a good drummer. he can pull off some impressive drum corp snare drum stuff....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOfsr9D-KXU

Can I have those 4 minutes back? What a load of [C]RAP! You wanna hear some real drumming? Check out Carl Palmer, John Bonham, or Neal Peart. Not that punk *** wanna be Travis Barker!:-x

BonzoHansen 10-10-2007 08:07 AM

So he played alonmg with the song, that is his job as a drummer. I just didn't see anything special there. Yeah, go look aroud the web for vids or Neil Peart.

One correction, his wife is stupider then him. I saw maybe 3 episodes of their 'reality' show. It was stupidfest. LOL

Ian 10-10-2007 12:37 PM

now this guy has some serious talent! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kve7o5wcev4

Knipps 10-10-2007 01:29 PM

Ginger Baker.

the guy's ancient and can still pull off a 10 min solo

TheBandit 10-10-2007 01:39 PM

from a regular persons perspective its cool because he put in some drums that went with the song and sounded cool... form the drumming or musical perspective, it wasnt that great or complicated..

oh and portneys pretty good :)

Toad kicks ***. Baker was awesome in his day. Him & Jack Bruce made a killer rhythm section.

You should see what a really good drum section in a top shelf university marching band can do. Crazy stuff. Of course most of them are music majors.

&& that gets them REAL far.. i worked w/ one at CVS... he got as far as assistant manager before he was transfered so the district manager could keep an eye on him for being a little too friendly with the girls

he left the company from there and who knows what he's doing now:lol:

nj96z28 10-11-2007 07:18 PM

seriously though where do hip hop artists come up with their names? drunkenly typing words into a search engine or do they have some industry standard chart where they cross reference their iq levels with their sperm counts and get a name. my hip hop name would be ****** ****** bang bang

WayFast84 10-11-2007 07:34 PM

Well, it wasnt too bad. BUT, hes making it look hard.

Watch this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=XUR4k0LyTdc
Phil Collins makes the first 2 or so minutes look easy, especially at his age.

And for enjoyment, nobody can forget Garth Algar on drums  !!!

Good call on PC. Underrated drummer. 3 dualing drummers! Although he messed up with Zep at Live Aid in 86, LOL.

I love YouTube. Just keep hitting links and see where you end up.

Terry Bozzio (Zappa, Jeff Beck) is great. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xir6EVkzDws

Most solos are boring though. That is why I like Neil Pearts or Cozy Powell playing over all sort sof stufff. Search YouTube, you'll find a bunch.

Check out this I just tripped on. Vernon Reid (Living Color), Jack Bruce (Cream) and Terry Bozzio play Jimi Hendrix's Manic Depression. So much talent on that stage. http://youtube.com/watch?v=nstApYoLUM4
