FIREBIRD FORMULA T/A 3rd GEN HOOD SCREEN WANTED!
 

Looking for a 1982-1985 rear facing Trans Am H/O hood bulge SCREEN. This was ONLY used on the Trans Am with the H/O motor with the FRESH AIR package. It is plastic with about 100 holes in it. It replaces the SOLID Black metal insert that was bolted into the stock hood bulge scoop opening.

Ed, it wasnt just HO cars. :) Most 1982 T/A's and all 83-84 T/A's got the functional scoop.

Most 82's w/ the powebulge hood, (LG4 and LU5, priority was given to the LU5 cars), All 83's (LG4, LU5, L69) and all 84's (LG4, L69) got it also. :)

Shouldnt be hard to come by.

85 they went to the flat 85-92 T/A hood.

T/A Dan hooked me up with one that he had in his garage. Looks really good and lets out a good deal of engine heat. I will be getting rid of the plate that I had on the car, which I had a machine shop carve out 8 long slots.
