i need to weigh my car
 
I just EAS'd and moved back home from Cherry Point, i need to weigh my car so that i can finish up my travel claim. Where can i go to weigh the vehicle?

If you need a quick rough number you can calculate the surface area of the tires in contact with the ground and multiply that number by the psi in each tire. I saw it on an episode of Beakman’s world once but I don’t know how accurate it is.

Sounds like you would also have to measure the height of the car before and after adding air. Otherwise how would it work, you could just pump more air in the tires and skew the results.

easy pickens in mantua pointed me to a truckstop in paulsboro, but i need to have a receipt signed by a load master or whatever of the cars weight with my possesions loaded and then unloaded.
