The new build begins ...
 
Hey all, as you probably already known I've been working out details to boost my car, well, it's finally happening. I'm going to keep updating this thread with information and pictures as the build progresses.

Setup:
PTK Hot Parts - coated
MP T70 Turbo
TurboXS BOV
Greddy 40MM WG
31x12x4 Intercooler
Manual Boost Controller
Custom IC piping
Alt Relocation Bracket
Comp 224/224 .560/.560 115+2LSA Camshaft
Stock 6.0L #317 Heads
Comp 918 springs
Comp Pushrods
2003+ MLS 5-layer head gaskets
Snow performance Meth injection
F.A.S.T. 60# high imp. injectors
Dual Granatelli fuel pumps
autometer boost guage

Bottom End:
LS6 Crank
Forged Diamond Race Pistons
Forged Eagle H-Beam Rods
Diamond Piston Rings
LS6 High Volume Oil Pump

aren't the walbro 255s only good til 500hp?

i thought your car was done and you were breaking it in or something?

yeah but we had some insurance issues and stuff also i had a leak so i looked things over and sold all my n/a stuff the bottom end still has to go through a break in period but since im changing the setup im gonna redo the breakin.

is that all the parts you have? cause you're gonnna need alot more than that. but its a great start, keep us updated

I will, parts come this week. I'm installing the gaskets and heads probably this weekend, so i'll keep you posted

more stuff installed , tomorrow the turbo hotparts and the WG & BOV come, wednesday the coldside piping, all clams, intercooler, mounts,meth kit all come, thursday everything else comes.,

haha thanks man, I got the motor all completed now, just going to get it runnin tomorrow so i can start working on a tune then either tomorrow or wednesday everything comes so i'll be ready :twisted:

ive started on my silverado so when thats good i can start building my 355 and beefing up my rear/700r4 for the iroc. truck as a dd needs to be dependable

I hope you are just relocating the oil pressure gauge.....I wouldn't want that to disappear completely.

well i have the factory one hook up and working properly, before i got the new sending unit i was gonna use an aftermarket one but found it wouldnt thread in so i just got a oem unit, now i dont have a use for the oil preas. guage.
