You are farther east with a lower elevation then Hopatcong. Would you like me to take a picture? The elevation of my street is 1,020ft rockaway is like 550ft. It should be snowing soon where you are jew.

Wow! Better you than me! I remember sliding down Chimney Rock Road backwards in my 'maro back in the day. Not fun.

No snow up by me in Wantage, but my bud in Vernon said it was coming down pretty hard earlier.

some of us have nice cars that we care about....and some of us also have brains

maroman88 11-09-2007 09:16 PM

i take my daily drivers out in the snow and play around every winter :) yes there always camaros and mustangs but wata ya guna do?

DaSkinnyGuy 11-09-2007 09:26 PM

Jew to correct myself I just google earthed your house and its 690ft elevation. And the part about taking the car off the road is the salt and sand they put on the roads eats at the car and speeds up the rust process. And I can use a family members car instead of mine.

SteveR 11-09-2007 10:21 PM

I dont ever want to hear about driving in snow ever again

Iroc-z86 11-09-2007 10:48 PM

pshh, my old camaro i drove it all the time, salt, rain, snow i didnt care, was already a rust bucket so eh.

as far as the iroc, well its parked for the winter due to no insurance. it is up in two days, and it doesnt have a motor in it so eh; and why pay ins on a car thats going to sit on the side of my house for 5 months?

its too warm for the snow to amount to anything, notice how the roads are not covered.

The first car I ever had was a 69 Camaro conv and I took the car to college in Rochester NY. It turned out to be a great handling car in the snow. I drove my 2000 SS everyday last year but had to wait until noon to go into work twice. I worked from home until the roads cleared. We really don't get much bad weather like we used to so I don't understand why people are so afraid to use their F-body as a daily driver.

I have been daily driving mine for the last 3 of 5 years owning it, the past few winters havent even been that bad.
I think I have only been stuck parked maybe 3 times due to snow.

yea it was probly a burst of snow in that area, its crazy how the snow we were seeing was lake effect snow from the great lakes and causes some areas to get alot and some to get nothing. And the worst part is some of the county roads they put down salt!!
