:stupid: I can't wait to hear some sound clips!

The valve covers are Cantons, they are big, thats what i love about them, they really dress up a motor. I bought the Thunder Racing OVC wires, i am going to run them on the side of the valve covers. I am going to put it in this week, gonna pull the motor from the top though, my garage isnt big enough to do the motor out the bottom. Larry from Hansen Racing did the shortblock, and i assembled the rest. Hope to have it running by next week, i didnt bolt the intake down yet, i was going to do that after i install it, i want to prime the oil pump before running it.

Prolly - look at the passenger side cover. Looks like it's made to fit the alternator.

Nice valve covers. I was looking at buying a similar set when I started my engine swap.

My 50 year old *** needs that heated garage to do the motor Jon. Besides i am old school, never took a motor out the bottom.

DaSkinnyGuy 11-12-2007 08:08 PM

Can I borrow that motor and break it in for you.

97ws6 11-12-2007 09:45 PM

Oh i think i can break it in, I gave the old motor hell today ,before i put it in th garage. Did about 10 holeshots, until i knocked the rear muffler off, busted the exhaust pipe going into the muffler. Didnt even phase the motor though. I thought i would lose the clutch, its beeen knocking on heavens door for a while now, but i think the coool weather helped.
