No Doughnuts?

I'm working in the liqour store today and I wanted a little sugar boost, so one of the guys I work w/ wanted to make a trip to the local D&D so I asked him to get me a regular frosted doughnt and he comes back to tell me they don't have any!

What the hell kind of Dunkin' Doughnuts doesn't have doughnuts on a Sunday!! The basis of the store is doughnuts!

:-?

they don't make the plain old dunken donut anymore. the company dropped it a few years ago when thy started pushing all of the specialty crap that they now sell.

All I wanted was a frosted or glazed :-(

Tire iron to D&D? lol, seriously tho, my problem with D&D is, besides the one in Waretown, I have not been to a D&D wher thye accept debit/credit cards in South Jersey. i was told they do do that up ni central and north, but not around here. I think by this day and age youd take this stuff since mroe and more people pay with cards then cash anymore. I know therreaon behind why the stores dont do it, but ill keep it to myself, but it pertains to a certain ethnicity, and their tax evasion doing it. Damn, now I want a coffee coolatta now and some doughnuts...

I like the DD I go to in Greenbrook, CENTRAL NJ. The people who work there are super nice, they know how I take my coffee w/o me having to tell 'em time and time again, there are a few hawtie chics working there, and there are a couple of doods who always ask me about what ever automotive related shirt or jacket I happen to be wearing. :)

maroman88 12-09-2007 06:46 PM

not all DnD's make food on premisis, the smaller ones get speratic deliveries through out the day from the larger ones

and they all take credit/debit up here

dunkin donuts coffee =

misterjuice 12-10-2007 12:08 AM

WAIT...they didn't have doughnuts? or they didn't have the frosted??? I know they "run out" of certain ones...every now and again......so your friend may have just bs you...or they ran out of that particular one.

Went to the DD on 23rd and Park a few months ago, and they were out of donuts... seriously. No donuts.

I understand that when DD sells franchises, they sell zones, and the owner can open as many as they want in the zone. When they do this, sometimes they will have one store that bakes the doughnuts, and the others are just outlets that sell them. With this system, I can see how they might run out, but it's still no excuse. If you have "donut" in your name, you shouldn't run out of donuts.

Imagine calling Dominos, and being told no pizza... or Starbucks without coffee...

Unforgivable, IMHO.

BS to the no glaze. Of the 250 D&D's in the 10 min radius of my house, they all have them.
Krispy Kream is better though....

I knoww, but I can't find them anywhere anymore. And Ryan, that was to Alex about how they couldn't get glazed. I've seen plain too.
