I saw that on LS1Tech and I was meaning to ask how is that set up beneficial over a regular EWP in the stock location?

Anti_Rice_Guy 12-11-2007 10:38 AM

JPR = ? EWP = electronic water pump?

JPR = Joe Prince (Racing i think)

EWP = Electric Water Pump

It's a reverse flow water pump that came out a long time ago. I don't know all the details, but there was a lot of controversy surrounding Joe Prince and his shop, and I believe it closed down a while ago. He lives in the area and some guys here know him.

he may of been hard to get hold of but his work was good and he stood by it, at least with me.

Yea, a lot of people never had any trouble with him. But some allegedly had some big trouble with him, and the word spreads fast on the 'net.

that looks like an awesome unit. i know this has probably been said many times, but i still can't believe how empty your engine bay looks now

Ah, I see. And thanks mike too. My buddy has open pipes (no AIR, etc...old school headers into pipes) and I don't think his engine bay is as open as yours haha.

Demonicbird00 12-12-2007 03:34 PM

its not reverse flow unfortunately. when he was making it he was having problems w/ he flow.

there are good stories and bad..... just like all the other shops have.... they just nailed him to the cross, and still bring it up.

-brandon

thanks for the compliments :)

Tru2Chevy 12-12-2007 03:41 PM

Ahh, I didn't know that. I just remember hearing about his reverse flow pump, and assumed that's what it was.
