Heads and Cam

I have a 2002 WS6, I only have SLP cat-back and the airbox, I have been thinking about heads and a cam lately and I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I was thinking the SLP cam but I don't know what heads to buy. If anyone has suggestions on what heads to buy and what cam. Please let me know I don't want to buy the wrong stuff.

skip the SLP stuff. not that it is bad, just that it isn't optimal for making power.
where are you located?
TTP in north jersey, one of our Club Sponsors, has a variety of head and cam packages available. check out their site, http://www.ttperformance.net/
they can take care of everything from helping you select the combo that best serves your needs, to doing the installation, to getting the tune dialed in including all the part throttle for regular cruising. they can also get you any supporting parts you are going to need to properly feed your new combination.

if you look in the Sponsor / GP forum you will see that they ahve some special hours around the holidays.

Well, without knowing how much you want to spend and even more important what you want from the car,,,,,

We just did a heads/cam in a friends car; stock LS6 heads (243s) and hotcam and it's making 393HP and 392torque after tuning. Car has all the bolts on and lt headers. This seems like a great package.

a great cam that behaves like stock is the 2002 LS6 cam. that cam with a nice set of heads will shock some people
