The Meaning of the Word Camaro
 

Seen a lot of things all around about what supposedly Camaro means.. is i really a French slang term for "Friend"? And what other names was it considered to be called. Someone said "Stinger"?

Traveling Companion or friend.

It was going to be called "Chapparal" and then "Panther", but Pete Estes scrapped those names.
