voting question

Ok, i registered to vote when i was in High school. yes it was a long time ago, and back then I didn't really pay attention to much. I don't remember if I'm a registered Republican or Democrat. Is there a website that I can go to and look it up or someone I can call.

I tried searching the NJ voter sites and didn't see anything specific to that topic.

I don't think you have to be registered to either party unless you participate in one of those political party activities (ie. caucus, party meetings, etc.).

When you register to vote, I -think- you just fill out the card and submit it. From then on you can vote... and get called by the courts to be in a jury. :)

Heh, the Jury Committee (or whatever they're called) will find you anyway, registered voter or not. My dad and wife are both not registered voters, and both have been called.

I think they use driver's licenses to pull people.

What ever you voted for first is what you are registered as, and there is no way to change it, they were talking about it on NJ 101.5 not to long ago about it.

Which party do you want to belong to?

Gene, back when you were in High School, the country was just staring from the ambers of Revolution. Im sure that in the heat of the moment, you were just for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I would enjoy to hear your stories of all the political parties that have come and gone since the birth of your nation. Both you and James probably have hours and hours of stories.
Id ask Tim, but no one wants to hear about Medival times.
