The Discovery Channel's "Planet Earth" hd-dvd set the other day. Finally tonight I got arround to watching some of it. OMG some of the shots that they got are friggin awesome. I wish I had a deep bank account to visit these places and see them for myself.

yea man, the first time I watched the show I had goose bumps. Some of those shots are like nothing I've seen before. A lot of the footage in the series is of stuff that has never been filmed before. I want to watch the "Caves" episode again and see those acid spitting cave things again :shock: Didn't they also say that that cave in the US was going to be 'closed' after the filming?

Was that the same series that showed the Snow Leopard? The first time on film they caught the Snow Leopard hunting. Amazing.

I haven't made it that far into it yet. I just watched the first disc which is the poles, mountians and some water stuff. I have a feeling that I'll be watching this a few times just to take it all in.
