I'm not a fan of cowl hoods, but the 1st pic of the car's profile actually looks nice with the hood. Keep it black so the cowl doesn't stand out too much.

It really adds some muscle over the stock hood, but do paint it SILVER and put on the BLACK tape stripes with a silver LT-1 cutout or something like that. It will have a look like something that the factory COULD have done. See if you can get a piece of screening that would fit just inside of the hood scoop.
