One Less 95 Z28.....

my pager went off this morning for a car fire in the next town over so i had some time to kill and took a ride over to check it out. it was in a CVS parking lot on river rd in new milford. i park behind the building and walk around front and see the smoke and then i see it, a mint dark red 95 Z28 with smoke pouring out everywhere. funny part is, like a week after i bought my 95 from a guy in new milford, this car popped up on autotrader listed in new milford and i was a little mad i didnt wait n get it, it had full power and was red:) and had less miles. well i guess im glad didnt get it now lol. due to the dash in these cars being FREEAAAKINN HUUUGE fire kept popping up again and again lol. also the owner was a middle aged women with her teenage son in the car, i overheard her saying she just put a new computer and injectors in it.....
link to a local photographer that was there... http://www.brettsfirephotos.com/page60.html

of course i took some pics....

My guess is new injectors = idiot mechanic never re-attached the fuel lines to the throttle cover...and they melted...

Glad to see they got out...

I didn't know a windshield could melt like THAT! Ouch.

Dam shame, I feel sorry for the owner.

DaSkinnyGuy 01-14-2008 01:01 PM

Soon it will be up on craigslist: 1995 Z28, low miles, new brakes, tires, and fresh hot paint. Interior is mint except for a minor crack in the dashboard. This is seriously a hot car. No need to wash and wax, paint has a secert flame retaridant clear coat. $4,500 or B/o must go asap. Hot car.

What a shame. Makes u appreciate what u have in your driveway though. Everyone go out and give your car a nice coat of wax.
