well bottom end i think i've seen people pushing either GT35Rs , or, as my friend has, a GT4088R. But only about at 6-8psi for a stock motor.

take a look in the forced induction area of camarov6.com

I'm thinking of a 71mm onto a stock V-6 boost it little at a time to see how fast i can get it to go without blowing it up, if i like V-6 turbo then build a wild one, then let it eat.

yeah man, even the V6s love boost, not just ls1s. when my buddy first put on a 70mm from ebay on his car (yeah i know, poor turbo but it worked for awhile), he was pushin 8 psi and put down 415 at the wheels before the bottom end finally blew.

JR, are you talking about the 3.8 used in the 96-02 F-Bodies, or the 3.8 from the 80's found in the turbo buicks and similar cars?

That would involve swapping L67 internals into an L32 block though.....the FWD blocks have no provisions for standard RWD engine mounts.

I was just asking since the 80's 3.8s are a completely different animal than the mid-late 90's ones.

the Cartuning Performance turbo kit for the grand prix put down 296hp and over 400tq on a STOCK n/a 3.8, with a T04-B P-trim garret turbo, open downpipe...they also have a PT-61mm upgrade which they say can support 600+hp

Not true, if you have fabrication skills. It's not that difficult. A buddy of mine is swapping one in a G-body.
