Well i saw an entirely different color scheme. there is no red wire. and there are 2 yellows and 2 blacks. one grey and the usual double colored speaker colors. wtf? so where can i find out what color is what. i dont feel like looking into the firewall. any one with a 3rd gen camaro that knows what im talking about? much apreciated thanks

This is what the schematic in my manual says. The book is for a 1987 Firebird, should be the same. May be easier if you did it this way http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...677&c=3&tp=736

go to best buy or circuit city and get a Dash Install kit, Wire harness adapter, and antenna adapter.
Don't hack it by cutting the wires and splicing it it |
but but... splicing is fun and creative....
|
...or a waste of time & hackish...you decide? LOL
|
lol i like to think positive lol and cheap...

id suggest you get the plug and play dash wiring harness to match to your car then you can splice your heart out connecting that to your new radio harness. |
LOL nice i do need the mount thanks guys.
|
you still get to splice the dash kit and radio harness together
