Will the LT1 DF assy bolt right up to a 3rd gen radiator?

no

The later years have a different design that allows the fan assembly to kind of "hooK" onto the radiator, then the upper shroud holds it together.

The 3rd gen use upper and lower supports that the fans bolt to
