yeah, im about 70 miles north of Syracuse NY. I actually love the snow here.
I havent even used 4wd today. New Bridgestone Blizzaks and a 5,000lb Denali FTW!!! i took another pic now that its cleaned off AGAIN. Forecast calls for more snow... YAY lol http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00800.jpg and theres also a GTO out in the lot. He doesnt leave often....haha. Today I was talking to some people who know him and I was saying to them to set up a race between us when i bring up my 2001 Camaro. :-D http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00801.jpg |
wow paul, you did a number on that snow.. lookin good!
and that poor goat doesn't stand a chance  |
welcome to the north country. i didnt see grass from thanksgiving till april.
|
Paul, you blacked out some old Suburban/Tahoe wheels? Never seen anyone do that before. There are a few kids who have commuted to Seton Hall with GTO's, but not in that much snow. One of em is a girl.
|
there was no snow to be found 2 weeks ago, lol, now piles everywhere lol
it's already snowing again now, ill have to clean the truck off again tomorrow oh well. and yeah, i painted an old set of tahoe wheels my friend had. I did them flat black. I also painted my grille flat black, thatll be getting powdercoated someday. Front directionals will get spray tinted, rear taillights will get blackouts and then the front windows will be getting tinted soon as well. oh and i also got the license plate covers on it now, just to tone down everything. |
Ew yuck!! I hate snow!! Good thing I am in FL now!! :)
Good luck with all that. |
I'll be in Florida Feb 20th - March 14th. but ill be driving around 300,000lbs of ammunition

http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00802.jpg later on in the day.... i love parking on snow piles. I had to help push 5 cars out that morning. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00805.jpg Thursday during the day... http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00804.jpg and tonight, trying to move all our trucks around.... http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00807.jpg |
I seem to notice a trend here.

i know i posted this pic of the GTO before....
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...S/DSC00801.jpg but last night i got to drive it a tiny bit. When i pulled back into the lot last night, i see him half out of a parking spot. They dont really plow the lot so he wasn't going anywhere. I walked over and asked if he needed a hand or i could use a tow strap and pull him out. First he asked me just to push as he tried to drive it out. we tried, that didnt work at all. I previously found out this is his first manual transmission car and he learned on it only when he bought it. Anyways, as i was pushing, hed basically floor it and just spin the tires(and manage to bounce it off the rev limiter). Of course it wouldnt go anywhere doing that. He then got out and asked if i knew how to drive stick shift.... I hoped in and he started pushing. With having my SS as a daily driver for 4 years and having driving it quite a bit in the snow, i know how to work it. lil gas, lil clutch, clutch in when it rolls back, etc. After like a minute we got it right out. I had never sat in a gto before last night, it wasnt bad, but just felt strange, i dunno if i could get used to it, maybe im just so addicted to my SS. Anyways, in april when i bring my SS up here, im looking forward to messing with that GTO, it only has a catback system.... i'll destroy it... |
Sounds like he should not have the keys to that GTO and thus I DaSkinnyGuy should have those keys to that car. I will show it a real owner and drive that clutch how it should be.
