after months of anticipation we get to watch cars go around in circles again:lol: i'm liking JR'S chances this year. he's doing very well the last 2 weeks and i think he will pull off a victory tommorrow. hendricks FTW....DEI -RIP!!! who do think will win?

I'm liking Dale Jrs chances as well. Him or Tony Stewart.

Being an older Dale Earnhardt SR MONSTER FAN, I have followed Jr's career from the start. I think DEI SCREWED him something bad(6 DIN)last year, and it is really exciting to see his talent raise to the top with his new team. As for Tony and the TOYOTA'S, last year that car sucked. Now ALL the teams are running rubber stamped (exact same car designs), just like the TRANS AM's in the IROC series were. Dale Sr was a master in that IROC car because of his driving skills. Same thing will now pretty much happen with the COT, the best drivers will be up front. Just a side comment: before Dale's death, when he had the Penzoil car in his team, he had Steve Parks as the driver. When Steve got hurt, he asked Darrell Waltrip to take over for awhile. Waltrip at that time had his own car, and was doing horrible. When he took over Parks ride, Waltrip got into the top 5 and even lead some races. So it goes to show you that if you have the best equipment, you are going to do well if you can drive, and I know that this will be a VERY GOOD YEAR for Earnhardt Jr. By the way, anybody see him on QVC(For Race Fans Only)last nite. I bought some of his 24K(244 made) and Platinum(144 made)cars for resale at a later date. Hope it's going to be a good investment, if not SEND'EM BACK! :nod:

Dale jr. this is his year, hes unstoppable so far. he no longer has the pressure and bullshyt of how teresa screwed him, and now he can simply just drive, and worry about building his own company later, with JR motorsports in the busch/nationwide series. i have a feeling in a few years, he'll either be back with DEI as more then just a driver, or he'll bring his JR Motorsports over to sprint cup, and give DEI and hendricks a run for their money.

I'm hoping Gordon pulls off another win in the 500, but I'm betting the the winner will be someone from the Hendrick team, or maybe Waltrip..he's looked pretty strong, and Toyota finally has some power.

I'm a Stewart fan but like everyone said i think we're going to Jr. in victory lane as long as he stays out of trouble.

Pretty good race so far....took ford until lap 107 / 200 to finally lead a lap :)

nascar is supposed to be about crashes.. every car is still in it and its more than halfway done. ill let steve finish watching it, but its time for me to do some work :lol:

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH RYAN!!!! Im glad he won over the Toyota's, and Kurt. My man Mark couldnt get a break tonight, so Im glad he won rather then Crying Kurt Busch. I like Tony, but I dont want Toyota winning off the start of this year.
