Silver Emblems?

My Black 94 Z28 has on it silver Z28 emblems and no rear emblem under the PS tail lite. One looks aftermarket, the other seems to be the same style as the stock version. Was there a silver emblem option for the 94 or any year? If so, did the rear tail emblems set also come in silver?

Also, the prior owner place LT1 emblems on the fenders. What is the safest way to remove them without damaging the paint and cleaning the ramining backing tape remaining on the car?

Thanks

there were no silver stock emblems..
to remove the other ones safely i'd try a blow dryer on high to melt the glue and then go from there

The Z/28 emblems on the front fenders were all Black regardless of the cars finish. Same with the rear emblem. To remove the LT-1 emblems, you need to use a hair dryer and WARM up the emblem(not too hot)and just use your fingernail to lift up a corner and peel it off. Any remaining glue residue can come off with a prep solvent. A little polish should remove any dullness from the finish.

only emblems that varied by car color were SS emblems.

after the hair dryer a piece of dental floss works well instead of using your fingers

Easy way the change the color of the emblems is to just cover the raised areas with pinstriping tape and use a razor knife to trim. I had nice a few different colors over the years.

I think you can also buy then after market in a few different colors, try RKsports.
