Rangers

LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how do you win 5-0 in the second period and then lose 5-6

Untamed 02-20-2008 08:43 AM

The same way the Devils have a 3-0 lead and blow things 4-3.

It just happens. The players have an off night, can't connect and make things happen, and the other team has their act together. Plenty of season left.... for the Devils to kick ass! :)

momentium swings, how do u think the rangers got the first 5? when you play in that building with those fans its easy to loose your game, as you saw. im pissed they lost but what a game that was, so intense. OT both teams had chances to score.

at least the rangers get a point, and jagr got 4

Rangers will make the playoffs this year

but nonetheless, im staying away from hockey for a few days.

Hmm... NJ in 2nd place and the Rangers are in.. 6th? 8-)

I wonder if lackluster fan attendance actually helps? A quieter crowd is less distracting.

alamantia 02-20-2008 11:28 AM

well i have another stat for ya which involves a "0" and a "5" and it has to do with the rangers / devils series this season... anyone know what it is?

Untamed 02-20-2008 11:59 AM

Hat's off to the Rangers.

I hope they bring enough beer for their friends when they watch the Devils in the cup finals.

hahahahaha one year the rangers keep beating the devils and were never going to hear the end of it. typical rangers fan.... if you guys did good i would be more then happy to admit it, and when you play the devils you have your **** together, but as far as the rest league ...... rangers suck. Devils are ahead and are a better team standing prove it. you got a few more month and you will be playign golf like you have for the last 14-15 years? how many is it now? were you even born? lol GO DEVILS!

Untamed 02-20-2008 08:42 PM

Suckage indeed. :)

Lets... go... Dev-ils!

Ughh try being a Flyers fan right now, they better right the ship and NOW. Granted they have some big time injuries but still, stupid mistakes, unforced turnovers...I guess better now than March.

Untamed 02-21-2008 08:01 AM

Year after year the Flyers continue to suffer from being a goon team. Physcial play is important, but at some point they have to remember to play the game, not just bang people around. The injuries will continue to pile up if they don't start playing the game. It's like the old addage: a hockey game breaks out in the middle of a fight.

alamantia 02-21-2008 09:35 AM

Last time the Rangers shut out the Devils in regular season play they won the cup that year

PBodyGT87 02-21-2008 09:45 AM

Sweet Caroline.... Oh Oh Oh...

Rangers better win on March 2nd. I'm going to the garden to see them play the flyers. Seats Behind the goal, baby.

LET'S GO RANGERS! (CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP) --ha, had to clap.

Back in the day...

When leading by 3 after the 2nd period....

After a shutout season....

Listen, the only stat you need is this: Devils, tied for 1st place. Rangers... 6th place. The only proof anyone needs to determine who the best team is, is to look at the standings. Nuff said. :nod:8-)

Smack talk is yummy. :-P

thats my birthday...i dunno who i want to lose more, the flyers or the rangers

Personally I'd rather see the Devils play the Rangers, despite the matchup this season. Win or loose it'll be a great game to watch. Playing against the Philly Goon Squad makes me cringe because all the Philly guys seem to try and do is end another players' career. The Devils have the edge against Philly, but Philly always seems like they are trying to take the rest of the league down with them. :P

alamantia 02-22-2008 11:08 AM

Id rather see the Devils play the Rangers too knowing its an easy way for the rangers to advance a round.

yea really easy lol do you even watch hockey? considering 1 game you won in a shoot out 1 in ot and three other you won by a goal well 2 if you count the empty net goals. Rangers really blowin teh devils out of the water  .... it would be a great repeat of 2006 series 4-0 devils :)

alamantia 02-22-2008 11:41 AM

i win is a win, and vs. the rangers... well the devils... the devils dont have one.

35thls1ss19 02-22-2008 12:27 PM

i never said they did nor did i say the rangers played like ****.... i was just proving the point that the rangers def didnt have a "easy" win

lol goon squad.... we only have 1 fighter. Its hockey, if players don't pay attention in the corner its their own fault for getting owned. Reguarldless it sucks being a Flyers fan right now, I think some AHL teams would beat us right now. But since Gagne and Hatcher were put on IR that opened up almost $8 million in cap space, Kaberle or Hossa will be a Flyer soon. Rumor is Kabs will waive his no-trade to clause to come to Philly too.

alamantia 02-22-2008 06:54 PM

Forsberg will change his mind and sign next season too
