as you may remember...my dad won tickets to see "The Australian Pink Floyd Show" a couple months ago...well, just the other day he was caller #5 to WDHA again, and won tickets to "The Pink Floyd Experience" on thursday in morristown. :w00t: early bday present! :lol:

Thats awesome! Sounds like a lot of fun. Is that the same cover band thats been around for a while? If so, I saw them about 5 years ago and they were really good.

well theres a few...theres "The Machine", "The Australian Pink Floyd Show", this one, and a few others....but those are the 3 most popular. TAPFS was the best show ive ever been to i think or very close to it.....the other being ozzfest

I think it was "The Machine" that I saw. They were pretty good. Sounds like fun! I've always loved Floyd. If youre linto live stuff, I have about 90 shows on cd, record, and video from '67 - Roger's stuff through '00.

one of these days is one my favorites...and the roger waters version of set the controls for the heart of the sun with the solo in the middle.

awesome, I have a video with one of these days where they have this crazy pyortechnics setup and theres all these explosions going off in the background. I think it was like '70 or something.

I also have a really good version of comfortably numb from when roger played at PNC on 8/6/99. I got a clean recording because I knew the sound guy doing the FOH mix and he recorded the show off the board for me. The version they do is like 16 minutes with some great solos.
