will you trade or sell your current f-body for the new one?
just wondering. not everyone has the financial means to have two running cars for themselves, so if you have decided on a new camaro will you be trading your current f-body in, selling it by private sale or keeping it?

depending on how much i like it when it hits the showroom i'd sell my car, if not i might just go for a used 06 gto
weather I get one or not, I'm never selling mine.
I've actually contemplated selling mine as a basket-case package deal and buying a late Z/28 or SS, so I dunno. I figure I'll keep it at least for the near future.
i love my ta its not going anywhere i put lots of time and money and get so much fun out of it
Definitely keeping my car. I was hell bent on getting a new Camaro, but now I'm leaning toward giving up the beater and getting a GMT900.
I have done to much work to my z.. Its here to stay. Plus I have made into a collector. In the future I would like to have a second Camaro (5th gen:drool:). But lets see how the economy goes 1st..

I thought about it... but a WS6 is way too nice looking. Nothing else looks like em, and I'm in love with t-tops.
i am going to sell off everything but 3 cars to hopefully get the new one
keeping the red 91 z-28 convertable, 89 formula 350 convert, and the white 92 formula for now this is the only one i would see if i had too |
If I were to get a new Camaro I'd sell the Cobalt. I have no plans of parting with my Firehawk.
I'd keep it. I want a collection :)
not that I can afford one right now, but I couldn't sell my cars. Too much money into them that I'll never see back.
I'm not to fond of the camaro, I mean its nice, but its not something I feel like ill need to have. Hopefully I will have a 4th gen, DD and then when I'm out of college and working I could get a used and decent ls7 z06 and then maybe I could afford a new camaro to DD.
i put other because i don't know what that time will bring. but for now, i don't plan to sell my car. i do plan on maybe getting a ctsv coupe after law school though. but then i would still keep this car for memory sake :)
I'm keeping my '72. I don't care if someone offered me 2 new Z/28s however I want them optioned! I grew up in that car and was probably concieved in that car(although I try not to think about it),I wouldn't give up my car even for a new ZR1. I would like to have a new Camaro, but I'll work overtime to get it not give up a part of me.
Nope, I have too much money tied up into mine to get rid of it..
Now the GTO on the other hand.... :D |
I'd get rid of my 3rd gen for the new Camaro. However I'd probably end up with something else as a DD first.

i don't have anything now, but I wouldn't trade my last TA for the new Camaro...
besides, greedy bastards will no doubt mark them up...giving away more sales to Mustangs |
My TA is not going anywhere unless something bad happens to it. Honestly, I have too many memories, time and money into the car to go with something bone stock. Granted you can always make more memories but I love my car even though I want to throw it off a bridge sometimes. I most likely will not be picking up a new Camaro but more likely a G8 GT. If things are going real well, I'll go for a new vette but thats a dream that will come when the time is right.

The Camaro will always be second to the Corvette. And now that the Camaro will be heavier and with IRS, it really will be a poor man's Corvette! Make mine a G8 Coupe or an LS3 C6, but not an f-body.
